Customer Challenges

Several key bridges and connecting roads in Sudan were equipped with aging, low-efficiency LED lighting systems. The existing fixtures suffered from:

• Insufficient brightness and uneven illumination

• High energy consumption and frequent maintenance requirements

• Unstable power supply and grid interruptions

• Poor visibility at night, affecting traffic safety and public security

The government required a reliable and energy-efficient lighting solution to upgrade the bridge infrastructure without extensive electrical reconstruction or additional operating costs.

The Solution

Our high-performance solar street lighting system was selected to replace the existing low-efficiency LED fixtures.

The new system features:

• High-efficiency LEDs with up to 180 lm/W luminous efficacy

• High-capacity LiFePO₄ battery for long backup autonomy

• Intelligent MPPT solar charge controller

• Integrated all-in-one design for fast installation and simplified maintenance

• Optimized optical distribution to provide uniform bridge illumination

Installed on existing bridge poles, the new solar lights significantly improved lighting performance while eliminating dependence on an unstable power grid.
